The Gazehound Association of the Smoky Mountains was officially formed as a club in July 2018 to provide lure coursing and amateur racing events to sighthound enthusiasts in the Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina area. We primarily run at Kominek Farm in Limestone, TN which is about 30 minutes west of Johnson City/Kingsport. As of September 2019, we have been licensed to run AKC Lure Coursing trials and will be working on our licensing for ASFA and several racing organizations. Our goal is to provide safe events for our exhibitors while challenging our canine athletes to excel.
